
BOOKING POLICIES
CANCELLATION OF A BOOKING
In the event that the Hirer terminates the booking, Serve Social will refund the booking fee as follows:
Cancellation notice received more than 30 days prior to the date of Event: Full refund.
Within 30 days prior to the Event – 50% of booking fee.
Within 14 days prior to the Event – 25% of booking fee.
Within 7 days prior to the Event – no refund or transfer.
CHANGE OF DATE FOR A BOOKING
In the event that the Hirer requests a change of date for their booking, Serve Social will handle the request as follows:
Change of date request received more than 30 days prior to the original Event date: Full transfer of booking fee to the new date, subject to availability.
Change of date request received within 30 days prior to the original Event date:
75% of the original booking fee will be transferred to the new date.
The remaining 25% will be treated as a rebooking fee.
Change of date request received within 14 days prior to the original Event date:
50% of the original booking fee will be transferred to the new date.
The remaining 50% will be treated as a rebooking fee.
Change of date request received within 7 days prior to the original Event date:
No transfer of booking fee will be allowed.
The original booking will be treated as a cancellation with no refund, as per the cancellation policy.
A new booking at full price will be required for the desired new date, subject to availability.
All change of date requests are subject to availability of the desired new date. If the desired new date is unavailable, the original booking will remain in place unless cancelled as per the cancellation policy.
EXCLUSIVE CLUBHOUSE OR ENTIRE VENUE HIRE
By booking an Exclusive Clubhouse or Entire Venue Hire at Serve Social you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Any pricing or proposal quoted for one of the above event booking types is valid for 48 hours only.
To confirm one of the above event booking types a non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit payment based on the total of the event (if booking more than 30 days before the event date) is required within 48 hours to fully secure the event, otherwise the event date may be released by the team.
The deposit paid is non-refundable and non-transferrable, even if the event is cancelled.
Cancellations: The venue reserves the right to retain 100% of the fees if notified of a cancellation less than 30 days prior to the event.
After 5pm the venue, including all spaces, is an over 18 venue and ID will be required for all guests.
MIN CHARGE FOR CLUBHOUSE HIRE
Any booking of 30 or more guests secures exclusive use of the Clubhouse. This requires a minimum activities charge of $40 per person for at least 30 guests (total $1,200). If guest numbers drop below 30 after the booking is confirmed, this minimum charge still applies and will be deducted from the paid deposit. Any additional food and beverage packages must be purchased separately.
MIN CHARGE FOR ENTIRE VENUE HIRE
If you would like to hire the entire venue exclusively - including access to Escape Rooms, Ping Pong, Darts, Shuffleboard, and Cornhole - the minimum charge is $60 per person for activities over a 2-hour period, based on at least 60 guests (total $3,600). This option is subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance. If guest numbers drop below 60 after the booking is confirmed, the minimum charge still applies and will be deducted from the paid deposit. Food and beverage packages are additional.
GUESTS UNDER 18
Off-Peak ‘Clubhouse’ Entry for Minors
We welcome guests under 18 years of age during our off-peak hours in The Clubhouse (bar area, Ping Pong, Darts, Shuffleboard & Cornhole) before 5:00 pm Monday through Saturday, and all day on Sunday.
Supervision Requirement
All minors must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over. The supervision ratio must be maintained at a minimum of one adult per every three children.
Group Considerations
While we are happy to host younger guests during these times, please be aware that larger groups may result in a rowdier atmosphere. We recommend that you contact us in advance if you are booking for a larger group so we can advise you on what to expect.
Peak Entry Conditions
After 5:00 pm from Monday to Saturday, every guest must be 18 years or older.
By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these conditions.

Please note Security Cameras are in operation in our venue for the safety of our staff and guests.
PHOTO AND VIDEO
Serve Social reserves the right to take photos and videos within its venues at all times. These images will be used by Serve Social to share positive promotional news about its events and experiences across all digital channels of communication and the occasional internal memorandum. Images may also be used in press releases, printed publicity and published on our websites globally. All Images are stored securely on our server. If you would prefer for you or your child not to be photographed or filmed, please email info@servesocial.co.nz
